#  A poem inspired by the lambda phage

Amanda Auerbach, a PhD Candidate at Harvard in the Department of English, recently published a poem, "[The Eve Virus](http://www.conjunctions.com/webconj.htm)," inspired by the lab's [virus physics](/virus-physics) project. Amanda's poem follows the lysogenic and lytic life cycle of the lambda phage from a unique perspective.
