Aaron was a PhD student in Applied Physics who studied the self-assembly of viruses using interferometric scattering microscopy and other interferometric techniques. He received his B.A. in physics and mathematics in 2012 from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he studied two-dimensional hydrodynamics using smectic liquid crystal films with Prof. Noel Clark. He earned his PhD from Harvard in 2018.
