Ellen Klein was a Ph.D. student in Physics who studied the self-assembly of colloidal clusters, with an emphasis on understanding what colloidal particles can tell us about entropy, phase transitions, and, possibly, biological systems. Ellen was a 2015 recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.

Ellen also organized the [Supporting Inclusion of Underrepresented Peoples (SPIN UP) Workshop and Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP)](http://cuwip2017.physics.harvard.edu) held at Harvard University in January, 2017.

In 2013 Ellen received her B.S. in Intensive Physics from Yale University where she worked with Prof. Bonnie Fleming. She earned her PhD from Harvard in 2019.
