Former undergraduates and interns

Former undergraduate researcher who worked to understand how capillary forces can manipulate micrometer-sized particles. 

Julia was a visiting undergraduate researcher who studied phycobilisome dissociation and diffusion in cyanobacteria. Outside of the lab, Julia enjoys very long walks and visual arts.

Camila was an REU student who worked on packaging and permeability in viruses. She earned her Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Aditya was an undergraduate researcher from Harvard College, where he concentrated in Physics.  He worked on characterizing and synthesizing artificial cells using DNA nanotechnology.

Yasemin was an undergraduate researcher from Harvard College, where she concentrated in Physics. She worked on holographic characterization of colloidal clusters.

Lev was an undergraduate researcher from Harvard College, where he concentrated in Physics.  He worked on methods to measure short-range colloidal interactions using digital holographic microscopy.

Jacqie was an undergraduate researcher from Harvard College, where she concentrated in Physics with a secondary in Music.  She worked with Ellen, Maya, and Aaron to investigate colloidal self assembly under competing forces.

Maille was an undergraduate researcher from Harvard College, where she concentrated in Chemistry and History of Art and Architecture. She worked on making and understanding structural color.

Tony was an REU student from the University of Southern Alabama.  He worked on structures and dynamics of colloidal clusters.

Alex was a high-school intern working on holographic microscopy.
